A glossy finish with no lamp
Today, we're showing you a quick tutorial on traditional finishing! Learn how to get a glossy finish on your nails without using an LED lamp! ?✨?
For this video, we used Ligne Pro resins reserved for technicians; however, you can find equivalent products in the Élégance resins.
How to achieve a glossy traditional finish without a lamp?
- Apply brush-on activator over the entire nail in a thin layer.
- Wait about 1 minute for the product to penetrate the nail. If you don't wait long enough, your finish might become matte.
- Apply a large drop of dipping resin. The brush-on activator cures from underneath; if your resin layer is too thin, the finish will also turn matte. Don't forget to wipe your brush.
- Check your resin with an orangewood stick.
- Apply a layer of finishing resin, which you can spread a little. This layer will take a bit longer to dry, but it will provide a beautiful glossy finish.
Possible variation
It is possible to apply 2 layers of dipping resin instead of one layer of dipping resin and one layer of finishing resin.
