- The nails: In this module, we will look at the composition of the nail as well as the diseases you might encounter throughout your career.

As soon as you begin, you will have access to the training for a period of 12 months. The viewing time for the content is a little over 30 hours. The duration of the training will depend on your viewing time and your practice. The more time you take to follow the steps conscientiously, the more professional you will be.
Theoretical exercises will need to be completed at the end of certain modules.
A practical exam will be required at the end of your training. This exam is carried out 100% remotely; the required sets must be done on a real hand (on yourself or a model). Practice hands are not valid.
At the end of your training, you will receive a certificate of completion as a Nail Technician, in addition to having access to our technician pricing, as well as an additional 10% discount on Ongles d'Or products.

The minimum age to take the training course is 18, or 16 (with parental consent). By registering for this course, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement.
Why not before age 16:
Until the age of 16, the growth of the nail matrix and nail plate is not complete, and therefore the nail plate is still thin and fragile. It reaches maturity around the age of 16.
You will be able to do your own nails as well as those of your friends and family. The training aims to train future nail technicians, so it is very comprehensive.
Often, this type of lifting is caused by poor preparation of the nail plate.
No, everything you need is included in the starter kits. However, if you do not have an LED lamp, you should buy one to cure your gel products.
The videos are made using our products, so to ensure your success, it is important to use the same ones as the instructor, as product names and specifications can vary from one brand to another.
The products are included in the total price of the kit. However, we offer you 3 kit options to suit your needs. If you already have the equipment or wish to purchase them later, you can simply choose the essential kit.
The Ongles d’Or certificate of achievement is recognized by all employers and insurance companies because it is over 30 hours long.
You can practice on yourself, on a friend, or on a family member. You may also take the exam on yourself; however, we recommend that you practice on other people to fully master the techniques before taking your exam.
It is recommended to practice on yourself to gain speed and confidence. As soon as you feel ready, you can move on to models and then to clients.
