Display faults and errors, prices and availability of products and services

Ongles d'Or makes the accuracy of the information found on this website a priority. It may happen, however, that display faults, inaccuracies, omissions or other errors occur. Distributions Ongles d'Or cannot certify that the products and services offered on the website will be available at all times. Distributions Ongles d'Or cannot guarantee that the information contained on the website, the photographs, or the product descriptions are complete and accurate.

Price accuracy policy — Specials

Distributions Ongles d'Or frequently publishes specials online. These specials are for a set duration, and the end date is visible in the online catalogue.
In the event that a product is purchased before it goes on special:
If a product is put on special less than a week (fewer than 7 days) after you purchased that same item at the regular price, you may request a credit for the price difference. To be credited for the price difference, you must contact one of our accredited agents to make the request. Your request must be made during the special. No request will be accepted once the promotion has ended. ***Exceptions: Black Friday and Boxing Day discounts.
Example: A lamp is put on special on March 9, 2012 (special ends March 18, 2012). You purchased that same lamp between March 2 and March 8, 2012 (inclusive). You may be credited for the price difference, provided your request is made between March 9 and 18 (i.e., during the promotion).
In the event that a product is purchased after the end of the special:
The end date of the special is shown on the website. There will be no extension of the promotion: to take advantage of the promotion you must order before the end of the special.

All promotional codes and gifts offered must be applied or selected when placing the online order. If a promo code was not entered, or a gift not chosen, before payment is validated, it will not be possible to add, apply or grant it retroactively once the order is confirmed. Please review your cart carefully before finalizing your purchase to ensure you benefit from all current promotions.

In the event that an item was billed at the wrong price, you have 7 days to notify us.

Technician benefits

While anyone may make purchases at Ongles d'Or, certified technicians benefit from preferential pricing and have access to exclusive products.
To activate your technician account:
– when creating your account on our website, you can upload your diploma.
– for an existing account, go to the "customer profile" section to upload your diploma.
Upon receipt of your diploma, one of our representatives will validate* it and apply the technician benefits to your customer profile.
* For a diploma to be recognized by Ongles d'Or, the training taken must be at least 28 hours and offered by a recognized training centre.
Technician prices can under no circumstances be applied retroactively to orders placed before your technician account was validated on our website.

TAXES AND FEES

All prices shown on the Ongles d'Or website are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes (GST/HST, QST or any other provincial or federal tax) are calculated based on the order's delivery address and added at payment. Additional fees, such as shipping or special-handling charges, may also apply depending on the type of order. For orders shipped outside Canada, customs fees, import duties or local taxes may be required by the competent authority of the destination country. These fees are the customer's sole responsibility and are not included in the displayed price or in the shipping fees calculated by Ongles d'Or.

Payment method

Purchasing our products through our online store is very easy. You can pay the balance of your order in several ways, directly on the website. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards, and you can use the PayPal application (credit and debit card*). Our transactional site is secure. If, however, you prefer not to disclose your credit card online, you can at any time choose to check "Payment by phone." One of our accredited representatives will then contact you for payment (your Visa or Mastercard credit card number will be requested, and the payment will be processed manually on our terminal). Cheques are not accepted. No C.O.D.
* A processing delay (ranging from 7 to 14 business days) applies for the use of PayPal Debit. The order will ship only once the PayPal Debit processing is complete.

On a first order on our website, for security reasons, we can only ship the order to the billing address. This address must match the address on your credit card.

SHIPPING, RETURN AND WARRANTY

The terms relating to shipping, shipping fees, returns and refunds form an integral part of these terms and are described on our Shipping & Returns page. By placing an order on our site, you also accept these terms.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms of service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the province of Québec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute relating to the use of the site or to a transaction made through it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the province of Québec, judicial district of Québec.
