Amethyst Gemstone Nail Art Crystals

Materials

• Dip resin
• Clear powder
• Baby Orchid glitter
• Glam and Glits Rose New Wave
• Glam and Glits dark grey
• Glam and Glits silver
• 99.9% alcohol
• UV resin

Steps

1. Mix Glam and Glits New Wave (pink) powder with Baby Orchid glitter. This mixture will be used for the center of the amethyst.
2. Apply a crescent-shaped layer of dip resin to the middle of the nail.
3. Cover the resin crescent with the powder and glitter mixture.
4. Apply dip resin to the rest of the nail, on one side only, and dip the nail into the dark grey powder. Repeat a second time.
5. Do the same (resin + powder) on the second side of the nail. Because of the design, it is preferable to do half a nail at a time to prevent the resin from drying.
6. Then apply a layer of resin over the entire nail.
7. Dip the resin brush into Glam and Glits silver powder and make light strokes on the side of the central design, then dab onto the pink part.
8. Apply a layer of resin over the entire nail and dip it into clear powder, then apply another layer of resin. This will protect your color and even out your nail.
9. Apply a layer of UV Pro resin and cure for 10 seconds under the UV lamp. This step is essential for using the Sharpie on the nail, as the nail must be glossy.
10. Draw black Sharpie lines following the curves of the design, then soften the lines with a brush previously dipped in 99.9% alcohol.
11. Apply a final layer of UV Pro resin and cure for 10 seconds under the UV lamp.
