The "bubble" effect, the trend of the moment
Today we're introducing the "Bubble" effect, the latest trend in nail art. The Bubble effect, also called foam effect, is a nail art technique done with dish soap. Yes, you read that right! The principle is simple: you make the dish soap foam to create a bubble effect on your nails. The Bubble effect can be done on any type of nail coating.
How to create a Bubble effect?
- Apply your usual coating (resin, gel, polygel), preferably black, without applying a top coat.
- Apply a layer of Fini-Plus or another non-tacky gel top coat and cure for 6-7 seconds depending on your lamp.
- Apply your desired effect; here we used the turquoise mirror effect powder.
- In a container, mix water and dish soap and create foam.
- Apply a second layer of Fini-Plus.
- Using your finger, take bubbles from the preparation and apply them to your uncured coating.
- Cure for 30 seconds under a LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.
- And you're done, no need for an additional top coat.
