Les essentiels pour débuter avec la résine

The essentials for getting started with resin

Essential products to get started with resin!

Are you new to resin and don't know which products to buy first? This guide is for you! This article explains the use of each product in resin nail application and how to create resin nails.

Medium Resin / Clear Resin

There are several thicknesses of resin, depending on your working method. However, we recommend having at least a medium resin and a clear resin, or a mix of both.

Medium resin will be used to glue false nails if necessary and to create the first layer of resin before the powder. For working between layers, a clear resin is better suited, as it allows for quick powder absorption.

Activator

An activator, also called a catalyst, is the product that sets the resin once you have finished applying your final powder. You can use it in spray form or with a brush.

UV Resin Top Coat

The UV resin top coat is the simplest and most effective solution to protect your nail art. Ultra-glossy, it simply cures under a UV/LED lamp.

Clear Powder

Clear powder is particularly useful for creating the stress point of a resin application. It is also very practical for creating magnificent inlays with glitter, metallic flakes, shell fragments, Mylar, opalescent flakes, etc.

Colored Powders

To work with resin, it is essential to get colored powders. These powders will form the colored base of your application. Here are some Oh Blush powders, perfect basic colors to start with!
