Comment réaliser un babyboomer avec le gel et poudre Oh Blush

How to achieve a baby boomer with Oh Blush gel and powder

In this instructional video, we show you how to easily create a baby boomer with Oh Blush Gel and Powder products, applicable on a prosthetic or natural nail.

How to create a baby boomer?

  • Apply a thin layer of Oh Blush dipping gel.
  • Sprinkle pink powder from the cuticles towards the center of the nail, using less and less powder towards the center, then tap to remove excess.
  • Sprinkle white powder from the tip of the nail towards the center, using less and less powder towards the center, then tap to remove excess.
  • As the gel "absorbs," the two colors will blend on their own.
  • Please note: do not reapply dipping gel over your powders to avoid contaminating your brush and to prevent the colors from changing, as the gel layer can continue to cure and thus alter the colors of your powders.
  • Cure for 30 seconds and remove excess with a dusting brush.
  • Repeat the gel + powder steps a second time and cure for 30 seconds. You can repeat as many times as you like to achieve the desired color.
  • Create your stress point (apex) to prevent your nail from breaking: apply a layer of gel, and with the powder puff, sprinkle a little clear powder on the stress point and cure for 30 seconds. Repeat as many times as necessary to achieve the desired apex. On a natural nail, once is usually enough. On a large prosthetic, repeat several times.
  • Reapply a layer of gel and cure again.
  • Wipe your nail with 99% alcohol or Ongles d'Or Perfect Cleaner.
  • Apply your top coat, matte or glossy.

Valérie's Tip:

If you want a softer white (less bright white), apply the pink layer over the entire nail and then blend your white. The colors will mix to create a softer white.
