Mermaid nail tutorial

New powders have recently appeared; these are mermaid effect powders, which give a metallic color with different reflections depending on our position. Here is a video tutorial by Luciana McGee, who offers a tutorial with multi-colored mermaid effect powders, on an acrylic nail base.

Materials

• Blue and purple mermaid effect powder
• Red and purple mermaid effect powder
• Black polish (UV gel polish or traditional polish) or black UV gel
• Base coat
• Top coat

Application steps with regular polish

1. Apply a base coat
2. Apply black polish and let it dry
3. Apply the mermaid effect powder by dipping the provided stick into the powder, then rubbing with the stick
4. Once the nail is covered with mermaid effect powder, apply a layer of top coat
