Metallic leaf flakes

We introduce you to our set of metallic flakes, which will allow you to create beautiful nail art by embedding them or rubbing them like a chameleon powder.

Rubbed Metallic Flake Nail Art

  • Apply a coat of polish or topcoat of your choice.
  • Apply a layer of sticky top coat; Fini-Plus is ideal. You can also use the Oh Blush gel and powder finish
  • Cure your finish for 10 seconds to make the Fini-Plus sticky.
  • Using a silicone brush, apply your flakes to your nail and rub them in.
  • Remove any excess.
  • Apply another layer of finish and cure completely for 30 seconds.
  • Avoid UV resins as they could change the color of the flakes.

Embedding Metallic Flakes

  • Embedding can be done with regular resin, gel, and powder. In our example, we use regular resin because it has a slow drying time.
  • Apply a layer of regular resin
  • Directly with your resin, pick up the flakes and apply them to your nail.
  • Apply your resin beads to the areas without flakes
  • Add a few more flakes if needed
  • Seal everything by sprinkling clear resin over the entire nail, then a layer of regular resin
  • Repeat clear resin + regular resin
  • Cure
