The Oh Blush DIPPING GEL is an essential component of the Oh Blush Gel and Powder system. It acts as a binder between each layer of powder and forms a solid base that hardens under a UV or LED lamp.
Formulated for very thin layer application, the DIPPING GEL allows for precise setting and soaking of the powder, while ensuring enhanced hold and controlled opacity, depending on the desired number of layers. This gel hardens quickly in 1 minute under a 36W UV lamp or 18W LED lamp.
It is designed to be used several times during application: before each layer of powder, as well as before the finish, for a clean, smooth, and solid result.
Nail preparation
- Brush nails with soap and water;
- Push back cuticles and file nails;
- Choose and adjust tips (if applicable);
- Buff the nail with a yellow block and remove dust;
- Apply 2 coats of Oh Blush PREP GEL to the nail plate;
- If applicable, glue the tips with Oh Blush DIP BASE & FINISH or TIP GEL (product sold separately).
Application steps for the Oh Blush Gel and Powder system
- Apply a very thin layer of Oh Blush BASE GEL and cure for 30 seconds under an 18W LED lamp or for 1 minute under a 36W UV lamp;
- Remove excess with a dry brush;
- Apply a very thin layer of Oh Blush DIPPING GEL;
- Sprinkle the Oh Blush powder of your choice onto the nail, shake to remove excess, then clear the cuticles with an orange stick;
- Cure for 1 minute in a 36W UV lamp or 18W LED lamp;
- Repeat the DIPPING GEL and Powder steps to achieve the desired strength and opacity;
- Apply a final very thin layer of Oh Blush DIPPING GEL and cure for 1 minute;
- Remove the sticky layer with 99% alcohol;
- File the nails to obtain a smooth surface, then remove dust;
- Finish with a coat of Oh Blush FINISH GEL, cure for 2 minutes in a 36W UV lamp or 30 seconds in an 18W LED lamp.
Removal of Oh Blush Gel and Powder coating
File the nail surface, then soak your nails in Oh Blush DISSOLVING TREATMENT for 5 minutes.
Repeat until all traces of gel powder are gone.
