This course is intended for anyone wishing to enter the world of specialized foot care to reorient their career.
By choosing this 3-day training, you will learn how to treat various nail and skin conditions such as: corns, calluses, callosities, fungal nails, thickened nails, specific care for diabetics, athlete's foot, etc. All this in accordance with best practices, using a gentle and painless approach.
This course is given in small groups in our training room located in Lévis (Saint-Nicolas sector). We have large classrooms with all the equipment necessary for our students' proper learning.

FOOT CARE AND HYGIENE CERTIFICATION
You will obtain a foot care and hygiene certification with a duration of 21 hours. By taking a course with Distributions Ongles d’Or, you will have access to technician benefits. This certification will allow you to provide foot care and beauty services while mastering all hygiene regulations. This certificate is 21 hours long. We remind you that to be recognized as a podologist by associations, you must have 180 hours of training. You will be able to build a clientele and generate additional income by combining it with your current work. You will also be able to make it a full-time career and live your passion to the fullest. We will guide you toward the right investments to start your career and make wise choices for setting up your business.

Model, Exam, and Certificate
You will need to arrange for a model for 1:00 PM on the third day of your training.
On the last day of your training, you will have to pass a written exam and a practical exam (on your model).
Upon achieving a passing grade, you will receive an Ongles d'Or specialized foot care diploma certifying your success. With your certificate of achievement, you will then have access to our technician benefits in-store and online.
Required Materials
- Bring a pen and notebook to take notes.
- A complete course manual will be provided on the first day of training.
- The mandatory starter kit is included in the total cost of the training. It will be waiting for you in the training room and will be used during your training.
- Bring a lunch (30-minute lunch break, microwave and refrigerator at your disposal).
- In winter, please bring a pair of indoor shoes

Our foot care training sessions take place in Lévis on the South Shore of Quebec, very easily accessible by car, 10 minutes from the Quebec bridges, less than 1 hour and 30 minutes from Trois-Rivières and Drummondville, and less than 3 hours from Saguenay, Montreal, or Rimouski. Parking is free.
