Oh Blush Gel and Powder - Prep (15 ml)

The Oh Blush GEL PREP is a fundamental step in preparing the nail for the Gel and Powder technique. Its professional formula acts by dehydrating the natural nail and balancing its pH, two key factors in improving the adhesion of subsequently applied products.

By eliminating all traces of moisture from the nail plate, the GEL PREP helps prevent lifting, bubbles, or premature peeling. Its action thus ensures prolonged wear, both with Oh Blush gel and powders.

It is applied to the natural nail after nail preparation and can be repeated two to three times to maximize its effectiveness (no curing for GEL PREP).

Nail Preparation

1. Brush nails with soap and water;
2. Push back cuticles and file nails;
3. Choose and adjust tips (if applicable);
4. Buff the nail with a yellow block and remove dust;
5. Apply 2 coats of Oh Blush GEL PREP to the nail plate;
6. If applicable, glue on tips with Oh Blush DIP BASE & FINISH or TIP GEL (product sold separately).

Oh Blush Gel and Powder System Application Steps

1. Apply a very thin coat of Oh Blush GEL BASE and cure for 30 seconds under an 18W LED lamp or for 1 minute under a 36W UV lamp;
2. Remove excess with a dry brush;
3. Apply a very thin coat of Oh Blush DIPPING GEL;
4. Sprinkle the Oh Blush powder of your choice onto the nail, shake off excess, then clear the sidewalls with an orange stick;
5. Cure for 1 minute in a 36W UV lamp or 18W LED lamp;
6. Repeat the DIPPING GEL and Powder steps to achieve desired strength and opacity;
7. Apply a final very thin coat of Oh Blush DIPPING GEL and cure for 1 minute;
8. Remove the sticky layer with 99% alcohol;
9. File nails to achieve a smooth surface, then remove dust;
10. Finish with a coat of Oh Blush FINISH GEL, cure for 2 minutes in a 36W UV lamp or 30 seconds in an 18W LED lamp.

Removal of Oh Blush Gel and Powder Coating

File the nail surface, then soak your nails in Oh Blush TREATING REMOVER for 5 minutes.
Repeat until all traces of gel powder are gone.
