We present everything you need to know about Ongles D'Or dipping resins. Its slow drying process allows for more play time with the product, the dipping resin can be used for gradients, inlays or other decorations.
This dipping resin dumpling will have a place of choice in your kit!
3 viscosity : medium, thin, ultra thin
We use the medium resin as a base layer because it absorbs the first layer of powder, then the thin (liquid) or the ultra thin resin will be perfect to create your gradients design. Keep in mind that it is not mandatory to use them together, you can use each separately, according to your needs.
How to apply the dipping resin ?
To make this gradient design, we used the Green Serenity et Icicle dipping powder by Oh Blush.
- We start by applying the medium dipping resin on the nail. Sprinkle (or dip, your choice!) our first color on half of the nail, more or less, according to your desires. Then, you will use the clear resin to soak the powder. Repeat this process a second time.
- In the second soak, apply the resin on the entire nail to apply the second color of your gradient. When you apply your second color, overflow on the first color to facilitate the gradient effect afterwards.
- The beauty of this resin is obviously the fact of being able to make a dumpling with the powder without it freezes. So to work the decorations well. This is how we will succeed in working the gradient effect here.
- When you like it, add some clear powder that you will use with the thin dipping resin to seal your design.
- You will complete this enhancement with the spray activator. It is important to note that working with slow drying resins will take longer than usual to catalyze, even with an ultra fast activator. So consider this during the application, to warn your client to be careful and not to file the nail right away.
